Huge congrats to our February Member of the Month in Double Bay, Melanie Fowler, and our Brookvale Member of the Month, Faye James, who both took some time out for a Q&A with us.
Why did you first decide to try Vive?
MF: I was walking around the neighbourhood in my moonboot after surgery and was
really looking forward to proper activity again and the “coming soon” posters for Vive
got me interested. The DB studio opened around the same time I had the all clear to
get moving again and I’ve been addicted ever since!
FJ: My friend Dani took me there once and I was immediately hooked. I’ve been doing PIlates in London at Pineapple Studios when I was a teen and was looking for somewhere good to go in Australia and as soon as I found Vive I fell in love.
How many times per week do you Vive?
MF: I try to come in every day! Vive is a solid part of my daily life now.
FJ: Six to seven times. It’s my happy place
What results have you seen since coming to Vive?
MF: My strength and stability has really improved! Muscle definition and increased
flexibility is coming along nicely as well.
FJ: Better posture, more muscle tone, improved mood!
What advice would you give to someone looking to try out Vive for the first time?
MF: Don’t hesitate! Give it a go and be patient with yourself. Because there are so many
variations of exercises and options you can’t get bored and you will really enjoy
yourself! There definitely is something for all levels of experience and fitness. And
the team are super supportive and helpful.
FJ: You won’t regret it! It’s the best thing you’ll ever reward yourself.
What’s your favourite thing about being part of the #vivefam?
MF: I love the whole environment of Vive, it’s a really great community. The team and
members are all so bright and encouraging, and it’s an awesome workout every
time.
FJ: The people! I love the teachers and the staff. Everyone is so amazing.
